The Gordie Howe Sports Complex will be at its busiest Wednesday with three Canadian Fastpitch-Softball Championships in action at Bob Van Impe Stadium, Joe Gallagher Field and the Glenn Reeve diamonds.
The host Saskatoon Selects are the only non-Ontario team still standing going into the final day of the Canadian Under-14 Boys competition. The Selects play Napanee, Ontario at 11 a.m. at the Glenn Reeve Number 3 diamond.
Meanwhile, the host Saskatoon Diamondbacks won their first two games Tuesday as the Canadian Under-23 Men’s event got started. The news wasn’t as good for the Conquest Coyotes and Prince Albert Brewers as both lost twice Tuesday.
Plus, the Under-16 Boys Championship gets going Wednesday morning with 14 teams, including the host Saskatoon Selects, the Rosebud Royals from Wadena and the Shellbrook Rangers.
