Mark Friesen, the People’s Party of Canada candidate for the Saskatoon-Grasswood riding is coming under fire for the cartoon he shared on Twitter. It depicts NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh wearing a turban with a bomb on it. Also via Twitter, Mark Friesen says he didn’t look closely at the cartoon before posting and thought it was a toque.

Meanwhile, Federal NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh is expected to visit Saskatoon today for a town hall at the Federation Des Francophones De Saskatoon on 4th Avenue North. It gets underway at 8:15 a.m.
