The theme this year is Starry, Starry Nights for the BHP Enchanted Forest in Saskatoon.
Proceeds go to Saskatoon Zoo Foundation and the City Hospital Foundation. Last year, $275,000 in net proceeds was shared by the two Foundations and 80 thousand visitors came through the gates.
The newest display unveiled for this year’s holiday light show are shooting stars, sponsored by Titan Engineering.
Steve Shannon, CEO of the Saskatoon City Hospital Foundation, says they were gifted with mild weather for last night’s Saskatchewan Blue Cross Light Walk but drive-thru traffic begins tonight (sat) and they’d like to see it cool off a bit with a little snow for ambience so Saskatchewan residents can look forward to bundling into their warm cars and taking in the lights.
Advance car passes available at any Saskatoon Co-op gas bars or food stores and Shoppers Drug Marts in Saskatoon. Tonight is the first drive-thru night at BHP Enchanted Forest in Saskatoon and it goes through to January 6th which is Ukrainian Christmas Eve.
