From March 9th to the 15th, Saskatoon will be the home of Canadian music. It’s JUNO Week culminating with the Awards Show on Sunday, the 15th and tickets go on sale for the JUNO Awards on Friday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster or in person at the SaskTel Centre Box Office. President and CEO of the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, Allan Reid, says artists, music industry representatives and fans will descend on Saskatoon, and the spotlight will be focused on the city, the culinary scene, the culture and most of all, Saskatchewan’s artists.
Mayor Charlie Clark says it’s a chance to show the rest of the world what Saskatoon and Saskatchewan has to offer. One of the events during the week is the JUNO Cup. It’s a hockey game with Canadian musicians taking on NHL legends at Merlis Belsher Place . The game is March 13th and tickets go on sale this Thursday at 10 a.m.
