One of the suspects charged in the death of Tiki Laverdiere has pleaded guilty to being an accessory after the fact.
18-year-old Brent Checkosis faced 14 charges after being arrested in late July including improperly interfering with a human body and auto theft.
The 25-year-old mother of two was reported missing May 1st after traveling from Edmonton to North Battleford to attend a funeral.
Her remains were found by a police dog outside of North Battleford in July.
Checkosis was one of eight people taken into custody in the case, five are charged with first degree murder.
A sentencing hearing on the accessory admission is scheduled for February 10th in North Battleford Court of Queen’s Bench.
