RCMP say two of their vehicles were rammed while trying to stop a stolen vehicle on the Onion Lake First Nation. On Wednesday, officers located the vehicle on the First Nation and saw two people enter it and try to flee. That’s when the police vehicles were hit at low speed. The stolen vehicle was located again, still on the First Nation but the suspects were gone. Police dogs were brought in and they successfully found their suspects. The two 19 year old residents of Onion Lake are facing a wide range of charges including Assaulting a Police Officer and Flight from Police.
