Saskatoon Blades defenseman Aidan De La Gorgendiere has been named the WHL On the Run Player of the Week for the week ending February 23, 2020. De La Gorgendiere recorded six points (1 goal and 5 assists) and and a plus-six rating in two games as his Blades team recorded two wins over the weekend. The defenseman celebrated his 18th birthday on Saturday with his fourth point game of his WHL career. He put up fours assists on the night in a 8-1 victory over the Swift Current Broncos. The Blades are next in action on Friday night when they host the Prince Albert Raiders for 7 o’clock start.
