At approximately 12:11 p.m. on Saturday, the Saskatoon Fire Department received multiple 911 calls reporting a significant amount of smoke in the area of Highway 11 at Floral Road.
Upon arrival, firefighter’s found a shed-like structure on fire, fire crews confirmed the building to be a total loss and found a pile of cut wood that was also actively burning. Fire crews remained on scene extinguishing the fire throughout the afternoon and say there was minimal risk of extension at that time.
This is the second fire at this location in recent weeks.
