The Saskatoon Fire Department responded to the scene of a fire at an apartment building in College Park on Saturday.

At 11:20 a.m., the Fire crews received the call to the 3800 Block of Chaben Place, where the building deck and roof were reportedly on fire.  Fire crews arrived and confirmed that fire had extended to other decks.

The fire was attacked by fire crews from the ground to stop the fire from spreading, and they were able to successfully contain fire to the deck and the roof.  Firefighters report the fire being knocked down at 11:32 a.m.  A Fire Investigator was dispatched to the scene to determine the cause.

No injuries were reported to residents or firefighters.
