The Saskatoon Police Service reports a checkstop on Saturday night ended up catching two impaired drivers.

Police say the checkstop resulted in 2 drivers losing their licence and their vehicles after providing breath samples.

Officer report one of the drivers even tried to flee on foot after he had provided his licence to police but was quickly recaptured following a brief foot chase.
