George Ward Pool was to open Saturday, but it has been delayed to finish up some maintenance work.

The City has rescheduled the opening for Wednesday.

A news release from the City says additional time is needed to complete pre-season maintenance, including painting the bottom of the pool, and because that is weather dependent, it may impact the scheduled opening.

Lathey, Riversdale and Mayfair Pools are open, but because of the pandemic there are some extra rules.

A swim session can be booked up to two days in advance.  There are also a limited number of walk-in spots for public, family and parent and tot swimming sessions, but pre-booking is recommended.  There are no walk-in availabilities for aqua fitness or lane swimming.
