It’ll be a capacity crowd that greets the return of the Saskatchewan Roughriders and the C-F-L to Mosaic Stadium next Friday night. The Green and White announced this morning that all 33,350 tickets for the August 6 home game against the B-C Lions have been snapped up. This will be the Riders’ first game in 21 months, dating back to mid-November, 2019 and the West Division final against visiting Winnipeg. While kickoff is set for 7-30 next Friday, the Roughriders are urging fans to be in their seats by 7:15 for a special set of pre-game ceremonies. The Green and White are also telling fans to get their tickets quickly for the other six home games as demand is high…especially for the 56th Labour Day weekend Classic on Sunday, September 5 against the arch-rival Blue Bombers. ROUGHRIDER HOME OPENER SOLD OUT
When the Saskatchewan Roughriders run out of the tunnel for the first time in 21 months, it will be in front of a capacity crowd at Mosaic Stadium.
The Roughriders are thrilled to announce that their August 6th game, against the B.C. Lions, is sold out.
“The commitment our fans have to their Saskatchewan Roughriders never ceases to amaze me,” said President and CEO Craig Reynolds. “I know I speak for our entire team across the business office and football operations when I say, ‘Thank You, Rider Nation.’ We can’t wait to see you on your feet cheering when we ‘Bring Em Out’.”
The game theme for this special evening is ‘Welcome Home’ and the Club, along with presenting partner Mosaic, have many special moments planned for Rider Nation. Fans are encouraged to be in their seats by 7:15 p.m. when the pre-game ceremonies begin. Kickoff is slated for 7:30 p.m.
The club continues to experience strong demand for all remaining games including Country Day, presented by Young’s Equipment on Saturday, August 14th and Family Day, presented by Ruffles on August 21st. Fans with tickets to the game on August 21st also receive free admission to the QCX.
