An RCMP vehicle was shot at on the Mosquito First Nation on Tuesday night. Battlefords RCMP were alerted that two people were travelling on the First Nation with firearms. When officers were in the community, police say a gun was shot at one of their vehicles when an officer was driving it. The hood was struck and no one was injured.

RCMP followed the vehicle to a home, where two people fled on foot, and haven’t since been found. More RCMP officers arrived, contained the area, and a search warrant was later executed at the home.

The scene where the gun was shot, the home, the police vehicle and the suspect vehicle are being processed for evidence.
