Scott Moe’s approval rating is unchanged at 51 per cent. The latest number from pollster Angus Reid shows the strongest approval rating went to Nova Scotia’s Tim Houston but at the same time his star has begun to dim; he dropped 11 points to 62 per cent but is still by far the most popular premier in the country.
There were noticable drops for B.C.’s John Horgan and Quebec’s Francois Legault at seven and eight points respectively. Angus Reid says, “If Doug Ford was hoping for a renewed honeymoon with Ontarians on the heels of a majority re-election, he’ll have to settle instead for a two-point bump.”
Outgoing Premier Jason Kenney saw a minimal two point increase by Albertans. The top three in the country are B.C’s Horgan at 48 per cent, Saskatchewan’s premier at 51 per cent and Nova Scotia’s Houston at 62 per cent
