A 22 year old man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant in connection to sex trafficking related offences in Ontario has been arrested in Saskatoon. The Saskatoon Police Service reports that Mahad Farrah of Montreal was wanted by Peel Regional Police in Ontario.

He was arrested Monday evening around 8 o’clock in the 1200 block of Avenue C after investigators conducted a vehicle stop. The Saskatoon Police Vice and Human Trafficking Unit is making arrangements for the man’s transport back to Ontario.

One of the goals of the Vice and Human Trafficking Unit is to also work to connect victims and survivors of human trafficking and sexual exploitation within the sex trade with the community resources they need. Anyone with information about human trafficking is asked to contact the police.
