The Saskatoon Fire Department says they evacuated a nearby house after getting called out to a structure fire on Thursday afternoon.

It was a detached shed on fire in 1500 block of Ave H North and the call came in at 2:45 p.m.

The fire was brought under control at 3:20 p.m. and a fire investigator will provide an update on the cause and damage estimate once the scene examination and investigation have concluded.
