The Saskatoon Police Service says its officers remain on scene at an incident in the 300 block of Witney Avenue North.

Patrol officers have set up a perimeter around the area and the SPS Tactical Support Unit has contained a home in that area of the Mount Royal neighbourhood.

The general public is currently asked to avoid the area until further notice, and traffic restrictions are still in place near the intersection of Rusholme Road and Witney Avenue.
