A Neuanlage woman has been arrested after police say an investigation revealed drug trafficking activities.
On Thursday at 1:00pm, Saskatoon police officers conducted enforcement action on a woman who was suspected of trafficking cocaine.
The 42-year-old was arrested without incident in the 1800 block of McOrmand Drive allegedly in the middle of conducting a drug transaction. The 31-year-old male who police believe was the recipient in the transaction was also arrested.
Two search warrants were executed at addresses in the 2000 block of St. Charles Avenue and the 200 block of Lindsay Place resulted in the seizure of 165 grams of crack cocaine, 48 grams of powdered cocaine, a knife, and $2750 cash.
The woman is facing nine charges including Unlawfully Trafficking a Controlled Substance, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of the Proceeds of Crime Under $5,000, Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to Public Peace, Unauthorized Carry of a Concealed Weapon, and four counts of Uttering Forged Documents. The man who is from Wilkie, is charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Failing to Comply with Court Imposed Conditions.
