As of 8:00 Sunday morning, the number of wildfires in the province has remained at 23 from yesterday, however there are fewer fires that are not contained.
Right now, there are four contained, 13 under ongoing assessment, two where the focus is to protect important property, and four that are not contained, down two from yesterday. Also on the bright side, there are no air quality statements out for any area of Saskatchewan, however there are several heat warnings in the central and southest areas of the province such as Regina, Prince Albert, Estevan, Melville, Yorkton, and Wynyard.
