Canada’s Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Disability Inclusion has announced up to $500,000 for three organizations to work together to outline the requirements for a national autism network.
Carla Qualtrough says the funding will go to the Autism Alliance of Canada to collaborate with the Pacific Autism Family Network and Autism Speaks Network.
This Network will be an independent body to bring together autism organizations and partners, including people who have been diagnosed with autism and their families, to share their knowledge and resources to support autism priorities and provide a forum for ongoing engagement on federal policies and programs.
