he 23rd year of Brits by the Bess is taking place Sunday, beginning at 11:00am.
Members of the Saskatchewan British Car Club is celebrating its 25th year as a club and invite the public to join them and their cars on 21st Street in front of the Bessborough Hotel.
Bob Forward is a long-time member and former club president. He says despite what people may think, although the cars are made overseas, the majority of the cars are all left-hand drive. There will nearly 75 cars at the show, ranging from brand new to 80-years-old. They include Jaguars, Triumphs, and rare Austin Healey and Morris Minor vehicles. The club itself has about 200 members. Most of them live across the province, but Forwards considers the club international as one lives near Outlook, Montana. Forward says he club began when less than 10 members gathered to talk about their cars in a basement.
The show is free to attend and lasts until 4:00pm.
