The Saskatoon Hilltops are in their 2023 main camp at their clubhouse practice facility on Kilburn Avenue.
The Toppers have 90-to-95 players working out and will get that number down to between 85 and 88 after they play the Alumni Thursday in the only pre-season action ahead of opening the P-F-C regular-season on Sunday, August 13 against the Edmonton Wildcats at S-M-F Field. After losing in the Prairie Football Conference final last fall to the Regina Thunder, I asked Toppers’ head coach Tom Sargeant if this year is a “redemption tour”…..
