Don Morgan, along with three other Sask. Party MLAs have announced that they will not be running in the 2024 provincial election.
In his written announcement, the current minister of labour relations, workplace safety, and Crown corporations stated that his health is good, however he will be 74 at the time of next election and he thinks voters should have an opportunity to see a fresh face.
Morgan, serving Saskatoon Southeast since 2003, made the decision, alongside Environment Minister Dana Skoropad, former highways minister Fred Bradshaw and Batoche MLA Delbert Kirsch.
In May, Yorkton MLA Greg Ottenbreit and Kindersley MLA Ken Frances also announced that they wouldn’t be running in the next election. Today’s announcement brings the total of Sask. MLAs not running to six.
