Saskatoon Police say a 21-year-old woman suffering from stab wounds was found in the 500 block of Appleby Drive early Sunday morning. At 5:30 a.m. police responded to a call of an injured woman who was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Saskatoon Police Service says their investigators learned the woman had been at a party in a suite a couple blocks away in the 700 block of Appleby Drive when the assault occurred, and she made her way to a neighbour’s house who called police. A search of the suite where the party took place located a suspect. A 22-year-old Saskatoon woman is facing a charge of aggravated assault.
The victim has since been released from hospital.
