Two people from Regina have died as the result of a house fire that happened Saturday morning.
Police were called to a residence in the 800 block of Rae Street shortly after 8:30 a.m., and when they arrived, they found a home completely engulfed in flames. Two of the residents of the home were outside and appeared to have minor injuries, and they informed officers that two adults were still inside the home.
Regina Fire Protection Services and EMS arrived a short time later. RFPS worked to get the remaining two residents out of the top floor of the home, as well as get the fire under control. The two adult residents pulled from the residence were pronounced deceased on scene.
At this time Fire Investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire.
