The Saskatoon Police Service say there were two separate shootings on the weekend.
On Saturday morning at 3 a.m., police were called to Royal University Hospital after a man had suffered a gunshot wound to the foot. The injuries are believed to be non-life threatening. The location of the shooting is unknown, as well, possible suspect descriptions are not available.
On Sunday, also around 3 a.m., officers responded to a report of an injured person in the 1800 block of 22nd Street West. An 18-year-old man was found who had suffered a gunshot wound to the leg. His injuries are believed to be serious but non-life threatening. The suspect had fled the scene prior to police arrival, and no suspect description is available at this time.
Both incidents are under investigation and anyone with information or video of either shooting is asked to contact the Saskatoon Police Service or Crime Stoppers.
