Porter Airlines will begin a Saskatoon -Toronto route from the Saskatoon Airport beginning May 16th. A news release from the airline says the daily flight will depart from Toronto Pearson Airport at 2:30 in the afternoon and then from Saskatoon to Toronto at 4:55 p.m. in a new 132-seat plane.
There are no middle seats. Porter Airlines says passengers can enjoy free fast WiFi, premium snacks, and complimentary beer and wine served in real glassware. President and CEO of the YXE Saskatoon Airport, Stephen Maybury, says this is the first time in the airline’s history to have service in Saskatchewan and the new route will allow for greater connectivity and more flight options at a competitive fare.
Porter Airlines says the route also connects to Eastern Canada destinations out of Toronto-Pearson, including Halifax, Montreal, Ottawa and St. John’s.
