The RCMP investigation into the suspicious death of 44-year-old Candie Pritchard of Rabbit Lake continues. Her remains were found on February 5th outside a home on Red Pheasant Cree Nation. Investigators have determined she was last seen in the area and at several homes on Red Pheasant Cree Nation around the first week of January. Anyone who may have information about where she was during that time is asked to contact the Battlefords RCMP.

Earlier this month, on the 5th, RCMP responded to a report of human remains being found outside a home on the Cree Nation. Additional evidence was located in a treed area along a roadway in the community. No charges have been laid and the investigation is ongoing.
