You can track delivery drivers heading to your home, and parents can track children on their phones and now you can track snow plows through Saskatchewan’s Highway Hotline.
It’s called Track My Plow and it allows drivers to see the path of snowplows while out on Saskatchewan’s highways.
A news release from the province says it’s a pilot project on the Highway Hotline’s website and smartphone app.
Click on a plow and you will see that vehicle’s last two hours of winter road maintenance.
When combined with descriptions of road conditions and weather forecasts, the goal is for drivers to be able to make the most informed decisions possible about winter travel.
