A 22-year-old man from Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation was arrested at the Prince Albert Correctional Centre and is charged in connection to the death of 32-year-old Dedrick Stick on February 1st.
Loon Lake RCMP responded over the noon hour that day to a report of an injured man at a home on the First Nation. Stick, who is from the Island Lake First Nation, was found injured, but he was later pronounced dead by EMS. Police say there was an altercation between a group of individuals.
From the RCMP investigation, Samuel Kiseyinewakup is charged with second degree murder. He appeared in Prince Albert Provincial Court Monday morning.
