Two people charged with first degree murder are facing additional charges from the Saskatoon Police Service investigation into the city’s first homicide of the year. On February 3rd, officers responded to a home in the 600 block of Lisgar Avenue about an aggravated assault involving firearms. While executing a search warrant, an officer shot their firearm, and a 34-year-old man was hit and transported to hospital in stable condition.
A 25-year-old Alberta man was found dead inside the home. A 34-year-old man and 32-year-old woman were later charged and now are also facing charged with indecently interfering with and offering an indignity to human remains.
