As part of a drug trafficking and firearm investigation, the Prince Albert Police Service Crime Reduction Team and the Saskatchewan Trafficking Response Team executed search warrants last Friday in the 2000 block of 15th Avenue East in Prince Albert and in the R.M. of Buckland. From that, 1,124 grams of meth were seized, along with 856 grams of cocaine, almost 1,396 Dilaudid pills, just under $20,725 in cash, three 9-millimetre handguns, ammunition and other evidence to support drug trafficking.

Thirty-six-year-old Kevin Georges and 38-year-old Saravudh Tim are facing charges that include possession for the purpose trafficking cocaine, meth and Dilaudid and multiple firearms-related offences. Both made their first court appearances Tuesday at Prince Albert Provincial Court.
