Regina Police responded to the Brandt Center last night for a report of a bear spray assault.
Eventgoers were exiting the building as Regina Police arrived on the scene. Witnesses told police the suspect was a young male.
The assault occurred during the 45th Annual First Nations University of Canada Powwow, which is the largest in Western Canada.
Organizers were forced to end the event early because of the bear spray. The powwow will resume today at 11AM.
