The Saskatchewan RCMP say an accident near Witchekan Lake First Nation on Saturday was not fatal, as was originally reported. The driver, a 51-year-old man from Spiritwood, was airlifted by STARS to hospital with serious injuries. RCMP Media Relations sincerely apologizes for the error.

The passenger in the vehicle was taken to hospital by EMS with injuries described as serious. The investigation into this accident is ongoing.
