Saskatoon Police responded to a report about an injured person in the 400 block of Forrester Road early this morning (Wed) around 6, and the Police Service now reports that the man succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. The 66-year-old man’s death is now being investigated as a homicide, the city’s 11th of the year.
Investigators in the Major Crime Section are asking residents who live around Hull Crescent facing the school, Forrester Road, Olmstead Road, Cooper Way and Cooper Crescent in the Fairhaven neighbourhood to review any security cameras for signs of suspicious activities from between 2 and 6 a.m. on Wednesday. As well, check your yards and disposal bins for any discarded evidence which may be relevant to the investigation.
Anyone with information is asked to call the police or submit an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers.
