Saskatchewan’s Official Opposition is questioning the Premier’s priorities and leadership after a video has surfaced from an event in his constituency, organized by an unknown group, where he commits to investigating chem trails and theories involving the Saskatchewan Health Authority and the pandemic.
To answer the chem trail question, Scott Moe said, “I am starting to hear this trough emails coming into our office in the last number of months. Honestly, I’ll have to do more work looking into it. I don’t know if there is as coordinated approach as some folks think, but obviously there are emissions that are coming out of the jets that are flying over.”
NDP Leader Carla Beck states that during the meeting in Speers, he said he would check out the allegations that the SHA implemented a “delivery system” for Chinese biological weapons during the pandemic. The Premier was handed a document about this and he said he would read it.
Beck believes the Premier could have instead stood up for healthcare workers rather than running them down. She says, “I don’t see why it would have been difficult for the Premier to say…you know what, that’s not something that we are looking into. That’s not something we believe is true. We know that’s not something healthcare workers would do….But we didn’t see it. Do what’s right in the small moments, it shows lack of leadership.”
A news release from the NDP says during the meeting, he also committed to possibly denouncing the World Health Organization Pandemic Treaty and questioned the credibility of international organizations like NATO. Beck doesn’t know if Premier Scott Moe thinks these are things that should be looked into or he has trouble showing leadership when it’s hard.
