Murder charges have been laid in connection to a death in the 200 block of Avenue I South this past Friday.

A 37-year-old Saskatoon man has been charged with 2nd degree murder, and a 24-year-old Saskatoon woman is charged with accessory after the fact to murder.

The deceased has been identified as 30-year-old Jordan Lee Morin who is Saskatoon’s 12th homicide victim of 2024.

On August 16 police responded to an injured person call and when officers were talking with the occupants of the home, human remains were located on the property. At the time the occupants of the home were taken into custody.

The Saskatoon Police Major Crime Section is still investigating and anyone with information that may assist in the investigation is asked to contact police or submit a tip anonymously to Crime Stoppers.
