A 14-year-old girl appeared in Saskatoon Provincial Court this morning in connection to an aggravated assault on a 15-year-old girl at Evan Hardy Collegiate on Thursday. She is charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault and arson. The victim is believed to be in serious condition.

The Serious Assault Unit is continuing its investigation with help from the School Resource Unit and the Forensic Identification Section. On Thursday, Saskatoon Police reported that a 15-year-old girl had been lit on fire by a 14-year-old girl. A School Resource Officer who was already at the school for a different matter was able to take the student into custody immediately.
