The Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit says a Saskatoon man is facing child exploitation charges. In August 2024, the Saskatchewan ICE Unit commenced an online investigation relating to child pornography and Tuesday the ICE Unit executed a search warrant in Saskatoon where electronic devices were examined on scene and seized as part of the investigation.
As a result, 28-year-old Taylor Sokul of Saskatoon was charged with two counts of Possession of Child Pornography and one count of Distribute Child Pornography.
Taylor Sokul appeared in court Tuesday and has been released on numerous conditions. His next court appearance is set for Oct 1 at 9:30 a.m. in Saskatoon Provincial Court.
