The Saskatchewan Party issued a news release Tuesday stating that the campaign office for one of their candidates appears to have been shot at.
Candidate Rahul Singh has contacted the Regina Police Service after two bullet holes were discovered in the window of his Regina Northeast campaign office.
Singh says their campaign has had many of the signs stolen but this situation puts campaign volunteers in danger.
Saskatchewan Party Leader Scott Moe said this is completely unacceptable and that Rahul Singh is troubled by the developments, but Moe says, “He has knocked thousands of doors and spoken with thousands of voters in Regina Northeast and that’s exactly what he plans to continue doing from now until Election Day.”
NDP leader Carla Beck issued a statement saying no politician should ever be subjected to violence and that whoever committed this act is brought to justice.
