Impacted roadways include Highway 29 from Wilkie to Battleford, Highways 301 and 363 out of Moose Jaw, Highway 1 from Swift Current through Gull Lake, Highways 19 and 363 out of Hodgeville, Highways 2 and 18 near the United States border, and Highway 13 between Horizon and Pangman.
At 12:47 p.m. yesterday, Saskatchewan RCMP responded to several semis blocking lanes of Highway 1 due to icy conditions. Police also responded a report of a semi blocking a northbound lane on Highway #11 near Kenaston. Following the clearage of those vehicles, it happened again at 4:38 p.m., as both eastbound lanes of Highway #1 east of Webb were blocked by a semi.
By 5:53 the scene was cleared, however the snowy and icy road conditions remain. Motorists are asked to continue to use caution on the roadways and to check conditions before traveling.
