The Saskatoon Police Service says patrol officers responded to a weapons complaint in the 300 block of Confederation Drive on Tuesday night.

The call came in around 8 p.m. and responding officers were told that a group of youth were involved in a fight and bear spray was deployed.

A 17-year-old male matching the description of the suspect was located nearby and arrested.

The police say he is charged with Assault with a Weapon, Possession of a Dangerous Weapon, and breaching court-imposed conditions.
