If you see the natural gas flaring near the SaskEnergy station north of Vanscoy this morning (tues) or tomorrow (weds) morning at the natural gas storage facility south of Asquith, there is no need to be alarmed. Flaring is part of SaskEnergy’s upgrade and maintenance work. Flaring removes excess gas from the line. SaskEnergy says flaring will take place at their Vanscoy facility between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. on Tuesday, September 24th and from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Wednesday, September 25th.
