Your voice on whether there should be a Tree Protection Bylaw can be heard now through a survey on the city’s website. Last year, City Council approved a new Urban Forestry Management Plan which recommends developing a bylaw to improve the City’s ability to protect trees on public property and educate about their protections.
Click here to to find the survey, which is open until Sunday, March 13th. The City of Saskatoon owns and maintains over 107,000 trees on boulevards, centre medians and in parks.
