Meadow Lake RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating a wanted male following an alleged assault in the Flotten Lake area on August 31st.
Police say a firearm was discharged during the altercation. The victim received non-life threatening injuries.
As a result of the investigation, Meadow Lake RCMP have charged 40-year-old Miles Lasas and 32-year-old Dylan Lasas, both of the Waterhen Lake First Nation with one count of assault with a weapon and discharge of a firearm with intent.
Miles was arrested at a home on the Waterhen First Nation on September 1st and will appear in court on Tuesday.
A warrant has been issued for Dylan Lasas’s arrest. He is described as 5 foot 10, 220 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
Police say Lasas is considered armed and dangerous. If you see him, do not approach him. Instead call your local RCMP detachment immediately.
