Premier Scott Moe believes 2022 was a strong year for the province.
He says it didn’t start out as strong economically, but there has been significant investment in agriculture, natural resources and the mining industries. Moe adds that the Speech from the Throne this fall sums up the Sask. Party’s approach – it’s about growth.
The Premier’s biggest highlight of the year was being able to help those fleeing the war in Ukraine.
“For the province to be part of relocating people to a place to be safe in this world, in particular a place where they can feel at home, in Saskatchewan, I think has been a personal highlight for me.”
Moe thanks the volunteers who have helped with the new arrivals, saying that while the Government brought them here, it’s the volunteers who have made them feel at home. He believes the province has a great foundation entering into a new year.
