The Canada Border Services Agency has announced that advance declaration is now available to all travellers arriving on international flights at the Calgary International Airport and express lanes will be available in the customs area.
If you completed your advance declaration and submitted it ahead of time, it means you can skip the lines at the Primary Inspection Kiosks and use the express lanes instead.
A news release from the CBSA says travellers can submit their customs and immigration declaration through Arrive CAN up to 72 hours in advance.
The goal is to reduce wait times at the border.
This service is also available in Toronto Pearson Airport, Montreal-Trudeau, Winnipeg Richardson, Vancouver, Halifax and Quebec City’s Jean Lesage airport.
Later, Edmonton, Billy Bishop airport in Toronto and the Ottawa airport will be added to the list.
