It was a day where almost every kind of weather hit Saskatchewan. Some areas had rain, while others had sleet and northern Saskatchewan has had heavy snow. Add to that the wind gusting to 70 km/h at times, leaving the roads icy and reducing visibility for drivers from the blowing and drifting snow.
Just after 4 this afternoon (Tues) a Twitter post reported an accident involving two semis south of Kindersley, a few miles north of the Glidden intersection, with traffic down to one lane. Travel Not Recommended has been a common theme from the Saskatchewan Highway Hotline today (Tues), which you can access through the news and sports tab on this website. Make sure to check it out before heading out on the highway.
