The North Battleford RCMP Gang Task Force has recovered stolen property related to multiple investigations. On April 24th and May 11th, North Battleford RCMP responded to reports of a vehicle being stolen from a business, in different locations. An RCMP news release says the reports didn’t appear to be related, then May 12th, the Gang Task Force found both vehicles at a home in the 1000 block of 110th Street. Next it was a Bobcat skid steer theft from a business in the 1100 block of 100th Street on May 18th.
On Wednesday, a large contingency of police executed a search warrant at the home where the two vehicles had been located in May. RCMP say the stolen Bobcat skid steer was seized as well as multiple pieces of commercial-grade electronic tools and equipment. Two men, 43-year-old Kyle Mccaw and 47-year-old Trebor Swindler are charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000. Mccaw is also charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a weapon contrary to an order.
