The Saskatoon Police Service is collaborating with employees from several bike shops across the city for the 3rd Annual Bike Day in Pleasant Hill Park.
Constable Al Chan says Saturday from 1:00pm-4:00pm, experts from Bike Doctor, Outtabounds and Doug’s Spoke and Sport will bring their tools and be offering free bike repairs and tune ups to members of the Pleasant Hill neighborhood. Members of the SPS Community Mobilization and Bike Units will also be present sharing safe cycling tips such as wearing a helmet, being aware of surroundings, and making your presence known to others.
Bridge City Bicycle Co-op volunteers will spend Bike Day fixing up used bikes that will either be donated or sold at a low cost to those who could not afford a bike otherwise.
